How to change your diet and pack on some muscle

London massageI like all men, but if you want to pack on some muscle, I’ve got some tips for you. You might not think that a fit young woman like me does things like this, but I do! I like to keep in shape as much as the next woman, and these tips come from a couple of my male gym buddies too. You wouldn’t want a London massage from anyone who wasn’t in shape would you?

Protein power!

I try to get as much protein in my diet as I can, and it’s easy to do really. I pretty much eat everything in moderation (I’m a good girl!) but I do like to up the protein when I can. You probably know that protein build your muscle tissue and helps them to recover faster after working out.

Protein is known as a muscle-building macronutrient for a reason: It contains essential amino acids, like leucine, which are critical in repairing and rebuilding the tiny tears strength training creates in your muscle tissue, helping them grow bigger, faster. I get it mostly from eating lots of lean meat, fish and eggs. I don’t’ go in for a lot of these protein powders etc. like some of my beefier friends, but you can if you like!

Eat after your workouts

This is when you’ve knackered your muscles and ripped them to shreds. So it’s at this time you need to feed your body, as it goes to work on repairing them. If you’re eating plenty of protein after your workout, you will maximise it’s potential. You can eat some protein before workouts too if you like, it’ll help too. And don’t eat all your protein packed meals in one go, spread them out throughout the day to keep your metabolism going.

Eat more!

This is where I have to be really careful! I don’t want to become a female shot putter or anything, I just want to keep toned. Now you guys, you may be very different. It seems to be the fashion to have big muscles these days. If you want big muscles you have to feed your body more calories than it needs, because you want to put on weight; just the right kind of weight – muscle. I think it’s important to point out to you guys here and now though, that myself and my London massage buddies don’t care if you’re ripped or not!

Carbs are important too

If you don’t have the energy to fuel your workouts, they’re not going to be effective, and it’s the carbs that will do this. They’ll also feed your metabolism as your protein goes to work. Most people used to think that carbs were all bad, but if you stick to the right ones you’ll be fine. My favourites are brown rice and sweet potatoes!

And book your London massage after your workout

Well… Everyone has to unwind and relax after a workout don’t they? Can you think of a better way to unwind than having a naked woman sliding herself all over your body?
